Kungfu School Yuan Qi

ABOUT US

The Internal Qi Training School, located in the serene setting of Meiyi Village, China, is dedicated to preserving and sharing the art of Taiji, Qigong, and traditional Shaolin Kung Fu. Founded by Master Du, a Shaolin-trained martial artist whose journey began under the guidance of his grandfather, a Master of Eight Trigrams, our school offers more than physical training—it is a path to harmony between body and mind.

Here, silence is not emptiness, but the highest realm of practice, where Qi reveals its true strength. Through a balance of movement and stillness, strength and flexibility, internal cultivation and external skill, students learn to align their breath, body, and spirit.

Our programs welcome students from around the world, providing not only expert instruction but also a peaceful place to stay, nourishing meals, and the opportunity to immerse in authentic Chinese culture. Whether you come seeking strength, clarity, or a deeper connection to yourself, our aim is for you to leave stronger, calmer, and more energized—carrying the stillness of the mountain within you.

Our Core Principles

Holistic Growth

We believe in nurturing both the body and spirit through our training. Our programs emphasize balance, self-discovery, and personal growth, ensuring each student can thrive in a supportive environment filled with respect and understanding.

Cultural Exchange

We promote cultural understanding and appreciation by welcoming international students. Our school’s environment encourages sharing diverse perspectives and experiences, enriching everyone’s journey in learning Taiji and Qigong.

Community Focus

We aim to create a supportive community where practitioners can connect, share, and inspire each other. This sense of belonging enhances the learning experience, fostering friendships that extend beyond the classroom.

Wellness Commitment

We are dedicated to fostering holistic wellness in our students, promoting practices that improve physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance. Through our teachings, we strive to empower students to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
